CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF CARING

This year marks Salter Healthcare Services 50^th year. It all started when Gershon Salter purchased the 30 bed Woburn Nursing Center in 1956. Today Salter Healthcare consists of the Woburn Nursing Center, Winchester Nursing Center and the Aberjona Nursing Center. In total there are now 384 beds in the Salter Healthcare system. Growing a health care business requires the ability to hire the right people. Gershon Salter was a master at attracting and maintaining the right people. He understood that healthcare is all about the people.

Today Salter Healthcare is owned and operated by the second generation of Salter. Brothers Richard and Robert Salter carry on the tradition of finding the right people to deliver outstanding quality to all the patients that come through our doors.
