SHC
is pleased to be a sponsor of Senior Sunday at the Griffin
Museum of Photography. This program is designed
to provide seniors with an opportunity to socialize and hear
area photographers speak about their work
The program is
FREE for seniors and their friends and begins at
3:00 pm
with socializing and
refreshments in the Griffin Museum's Main Gallery, followed by a
brief lecture. The program ends at 4:15 pm. The next program is
September 21, 2008
with John Rich:
Portraits of Elite Senior Athletes.
Rich will discuss his photographs and interviews of men and
women in there 70s, 80s, and 90s who continue to compete
athletically, and who are among the best in the world at their
sport.
September 18th -
SHC will be
exhibiting at MGH Health Fair, which is for the case management
department. We were selected because of the feedback they have
received from patients who have used our facilities for their
recuperation.
September 18th –
SHC will be
hosting a dinner and educational program for the case management
and rehabilitation staff at Hallmark Health.
Aberjona Nursing Center
September 13 - October 15
- The Aberjona Gallery will be hosting the artwork of
Ruth Liebetherr (Painter), Winchester. Reception will be
Sunday, September 14, 3-5pm.
September 15th
–ABJ is hosting a monthly educational program for nurses and
case mangers. Each program is approved for 1 nursing contact
hour and one case management CEU. The program is held from 5:00
- 6:00 PM.

Transportation will be provided from the Woburn Senior Center at
9:45. A two – dollar donation will be collected and go directly
to the Woburn Friend’s. An omelet station will be offered.

will be hosting a cooking class for the seniors affiliated with
the Woburn Senior Center. This class is held monthly and
registration is required. This month’s class will feature
Chicken Stir Fry. Lunch will be provided to all the
attendees. Transportation is provided from the Woburn Senior
Center. A two-dollar donation is collected and goes directly to
the Woburn Friend’s.
