- Hospice care is a special way of dealing with end
of life issues. We provide care with the respect to a person's choice to receive support, comfort and
pain management during the end stages of a terminal
illness.
- We strive to keep patients pain free while helping
with the emotional needs that patients and families
experience.
- Many hospice patients have a non-cancer diagnosis
and can benefit from this service as well. This may
include renal failure, respiratory disease, cardiac
disease, or Alzheimer's disease.
- We focus on comfort care, also known as palliative
care, rather than aggressive treatment.
- We can admit patients from home as well as from
the acute or rehabilitation hospital setting.
- Please call our admissions coordinators and they
will be able to answer any questions you may have.
We also invite you to schedule a tour and learn about
our tradition of caring.
