Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 120 bed skilled nursing facility that has been owned and operated by Salter HealthCare since 1976. Recently renovated, the facility provides quality short term and traditional services in the most gracious surroundings.

The Rehabilitation Suite located on the lower level has a separate entrance and formal dining room. Special amenities include: Air Conditioning, Free Parking, Hairdressing/Barber services, Non Smoking, Private Room(s), in room Telephones and Flat Screen Televisions with Cable, DVD/VCR player in our Pub, Wireless Internet Access, Emergency Call System.

Licensed Physical, Occupational, Speech and Respiratory therapists provide daily Rehabilitative Services in our Rehabilitation Suite with state of the art equipment which includes a homelike kitchen for our patients to practice activities of daily living to regain their independent lifestyle. Our Rehabilitation staff has incorporated the new Nintendo WII system to help our patients with balance and hand eye coordination in a fun and challenging way. Intensive nursing includes, but is not limited to IV therapy, surgical after care, hospice care, wound and pain management. Our Therapeutic Recreation Department has a diverse program consisting of, but not limited to, Music, Pet, and Massage therapy, to help the Body, Mind, and Soul prepare for return to independent living.
