On Friday, December 4, 2015, Salter HealthCare and the staff at Winchester Rehabilitation & Nursing Center were pleased to welcome Massachusetts Secretary of Elder Affairs and Registered Nurse, Alice Bonner, to their facility. Bonner met with patients, families and a number individuals in the healthcare industry to discuss one of the most hotly debated issues today, medical pay-for-performance. Bonner previously directed the nursing home division for the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services under President Obama.
